Tom Ford | Iconic Beauty Must Haves |
I’ve spoken previously about my love for Tom Ford Beauty, if I could swap my entire makeup collection and have only Tom Ford on my vanity table I would…. Ah, how beautiful it would look! Lol
But until the day when this is a reality, I want to talk to you and share my two favorite Tom Ford Beauty items. These are items that are repeat purchases for me; their elegance and timeless iconic appeal always pull me in.
"First released in 2012, I discovered NOIR in 2014 and was quite literally seduced by the scent."
Starting with fragrance; Tom Ford NOIR is spicy, rich, strong, sultry and decadent. It’s of moderate intensity and is, in my opinion, a long lasting fragrance.
First released in 2012, I discovered it in 2014 and was quite literally seduced by the scent. NOIR is my signature fragrance – it is spicy without being too musk, and is sweet with its Vanilla base note, without being too sickly.
It is, for want of a better word – rather yummy.
Tom Ford NOIR Notes:
If you are yet to smell the fragrance and are wondering whether it’s right for you, I would say that if you like YSL Black Opium, Atkinson’s “Oud Save the Queen” or any of the (sweeter) Armani Prive lines – I do believe you will like this.
"A Tom Ford lipstick is an item I feel every woman should own and try at least once. "
A Tom Ford lipstick is an item I feel every woman should own and try at least once. The quality, colour pay-off and longevity of his lipsticks are unbeatable if you ask me, and if you’re a sucker for luxury packaging I need say no more…
Casablanca is a classic, iconic shade that is suited to most all skin tones. It’s a deep pinky-nude-brown, with a hint of wine. With a moisturizing finish, this lipstick is comfortable, doesn’t bleed and is full-coverage enough to not require a lipliner. Particularly excellent if you are a serial nude lipstick wearer and want to venture out of your comfort zone a little.
